Your horse must have the official Harness Racing Freeze brand or recognised microchip to enable you to join as a riding member of the NZSRA. this isn’t a requirement for Non- Riding memberships.
Registration also enables you to compete for the end of year High Points Awards with 8 categories across 4 disciplines:
- Ridden Showing
- Inhand
- Showing
- Distance Riding
- or the most Versatile Standardbred.
Important Information from 1st April 2023
** If you purchase a Standardbred from a NZ Standardbred rehoming organisation NZSRA will waive the fees for either Adult or Junior membership for the remainder of the financial year.
